Double Blind cover, this time in color

Today is supposed to be all about Special Delivery, but it's actually a good day for all the boys all around. Hero was named book of the week at Whipped Cream reviews (thanks to all who voted!), Special Delivery went on sale, and when I went to my Google Reader to take a break between edits of TSV, I saw that Paul Richmond had posted the final ( Read more... )

One moment I'm at Paul Richmond's blog and next I order Special Delivery at Dreamspinner Press. And now I found your blog.

BTW I love your avatar, timeless but a meaning of togetherness in it.

Thank you! I like the avatar too. The image I bought from iStock, but the background (beyond the shirts) is a photo from our family vacation last year. It's a field in either western Nebraska or eastern Colorado. I forget which!

Hope you like the story.

This sounds really good. I didn't like Randy at first in "Special Delivery", but he kinda grew on me. : )

I didn't know Randy was going to show up when I first wrote it. He was just sort of there, and for awhile I just sort of followed around, not knowing what to do with him. But I pretty much fell in love. Dan (that's my husband) just re-read SD for the galley, then said, "You know, Randy is SO much more likeable in Double Blind." The weird thing is, it's in SD where *I* fell in love with him. I guess I must like 'em a little nasty....

I will admit, right now Double Blind is my favorite. It has a lot of special meaning for me in funny ways only I and a few other people will get, but I hope that translates into a good read. Special Delivery is always going to be Dan's book, though. And yes, I'm quite proud that I'm married to a man who unabashedly loves a book about a boy trying to find his kink with a trucker! His heart, too, but Sam is a package deal, I say. So does Sam.
