Harry Potter Panel Returning to SDCC!
We are on the schedule for Comic Con again this year! Who'll be out in San Diego for all the fun?

I'm not going anywhere near Comic Con for reasons that amount to being dead broke and introverted, but I'm glad to hear it. The thing with a book fandom, particularly a children's or young adult novel series, is that each new generation is more likely to get exposed to it than TV or movie fandoms and bring their own love and investment to it. Parents, libraries and school systems include it in their age-related recommendations, and while tv shows and movies do get recommended to new generations, the system of doing so isn't as organized or institutionalized, and therefore, book fandoms have greater longevity. That's what I think anyway. *shrug* :-)
