To 10th grade

I remember in my 10th grade year that Johnny S. was in my Spanish class as a junior.  He hated Spanish and had failed the class in his 10th grade year.  He is a really bright kid, but he just didn't give a shit about Spanish, which really doesn't fit my picture of him.

Sorry... this is vague... was he injured in Iraq? I hope he has a full recovery, too. This is very sweet.

Yeah. I really don't know 100%...bc he commented on a FB post of mine...like literally the first contact I had with him in 8 or so years...but it was about going out to something & I got the date wrong. So I deleted the post (and thus his comment) and re-posted with the correct date. So I didn't respond to him since I deleted the post. I wish I would have. Like posted on his wall....Ugh. That was within the last month. Then this happened.

He is currently in a German military hospital. He had been stationed in the US in the south(after being in the middle east) so I don't know when or he left the country.

the last news i received is that he is still in a base hospital in Germany. He is in a medically induced coma...it was an ambush/IED attack. He has a head injury, severaly broken and franctured bones, and his lungs are affected. His family and him need lots of prayers!!

and if you remember, he was awareded the purple heart (i think that's what it's called) a few years ago for injuries sustained in Iraq.

yeah I remember. Hey-Are you in contact with the family?

Some if it I knew but just didn't want to post cuz its a little sad. I saw the web article thing that has all the info. It was and will be in the papers soon too.

i am in contact with a a friend of a friend of his. Thats where i get all the info...my sister in law played soccer with his sister so they are good friends as well.
