More like, trying to use Photoshop. Why so hard to use? Whyyyyy? (runs back crying to oC autoblend brushes...)

ahaha yeah the photoshop's blending is a total jerk! I always switch between the eyedropper and brush tool like mad to keep the colours intact.

I know! And it is so easy to lose the original color too. I am still not in the habit of making a mini pallet on the side lines.

(and I have to paint big. It kills my crummy laptop.)

oh man I never use a mini pallette either. Haha I think it makes colouring too uniform and restricted.

In the beginning I just splashed the basic colour and shades under the sketch, made a gradient and set it on overlay. Then used the eyedropper to refine over everything on a new layer.

Ah yes a new layer. Using too much oC made me forget that you can use a new layer without smudging in PS. (*takes notes*)

I love your artwork soo much. I can understand your pain when it comes to learning new software. But just so you know it looks fine to me.
