Steve will have to go back to work sooner than Danny is ready to and by him being with Grace, Rachel, Stan and Charlie, he'll always be around someone and still have his alone time when he needs it...and Steve totally gets and supports that. and he'll get to see Steve whenever he wants as well.
I have such high hopes that being with them will further help Danny

The Chin/Kono reunion was just as lovely and if Steve hadn't shot Hess, Chin and Kono wold have gladly taken turns kicking the crap out of him before shooting Hess themselves.
The McDanno are just fabulous together and I love how supportive Steve is of Danny--Steve's not pressuring him at all and that's helping to restore Danny to his true self.
"Kids have a tendency to spontaneausly combust when over excited." I was the type of child that would get so excited that I'd make myself sick so my parents wouldn't tell me about a family party or event until the day of :)

And the whole moving Danny in with Rachel/Stan was a quick addition also. I figured it would make sense, letting Danny have time with Grace and giving him and Steve space enough to move things slowly along, plus Danny will need to become independent again knowing Steve isn't going to be there every day all day, so this eases him into it.
And yeah - I have neices, nephews and young cousins, so the over excitement is something I've witnessed. I think parents learn to be pragmatic about certain news events in their childrens lives to prevent over exposure of the squee variety ;p

I kind of hate to see Danny leave Steve's house but I think it is best for both Danny and Grace. Now it's on to the next chapter.

techinically he never moved in, as nothing permanent was discussed plus I think he needs to deal with stuff on his own but still around people as it were, get some independence back.

I'm also glad of how supportive Steve is and always has been with Danny. Boy that part with Danny getting scared about being alone got to me. Glad Steve calmed him down and let him know that he is there for Danny and would support whatever Danny choose to do....excellent.
