Late to the Party

So a lot of people have been talking about this week's Glee. Originally, I wasn't going to because everyone has a lot of strong feelings about what happened (and rightfully so). I didn't want to write anything that would upset anyone but there are some things I'd like to get off of my chest about this ep. If you're done talking about it, then ( Read more... )

rants, glee

This totally and completely makes sense... Now that I've had a rational amount of time to get over the heart wrenching that occurred due to Max Adler... I can totally see this an agree entirely with what you just said...

Just saying ;)

Oh, good. I was going to post something like this on Wednesday (although it was going to involve a lot more rage so I'm glad I waited) but then I saw how both you and Murray were reacting and I didn't want to offend. I'm glad I didn't. :)

I do agree with you, and I wanted to actually smack people for the suicide jokes at the beginning of the episode, along with the, what I feel to be, complete bull comparison that Shue makes, but really I shouldn't expect anything less at this point.

And for the record, my reaction was because the Karofsky storyline brought up a bunch of memories that I thought I had gotten over and moved passed, but clearly I have not. They were then at the forefront of my mind, which kind of made me unable to get over it after a few hours, like I usually do.

I agree that the Shue comparison was terrible. I wasn't surprised when they pulled it (because we both know how much this show loves glorifying its straight, white males) but it really had no place being there. I was going to talk about it more, but I wanted to focus on how nice I thought the kids having dreams was (except for the fact that apparently Mercedes and Tina can't have any).

I'm sorry this episode brought back terrible memories for you (like I said, it needed a warning, badly). I hope you know I'm always here if you need to talk. :)
