I'm thinking of buying a hedgehog during a trip to Oregon, and I had a big question about owning a hedgehog in an illegal state

I live in Oregon also and have owned 3 hedgies. I know of only one breeder in Oregon and she will not sell to you if she knows you live in California. There is also a local pet store in my city that sells hedgies, but I don't know what their policy is selling to out of state residents. May want to check before making the trip, if you plan to come up here just to buy a hedgie.
