Diet question - herbs

 Hullo there!

I'm getting a hedgehog very soon and I have a question about their diet that I haven't seen previously answered. I've seen a hedgehog on youtube eating coriander (cilantro for y'all Americans I believe), and was wondering if they like things like parsley, basil and other herby things, or whether some were poisonous for them or upset

please do not rely on youtube to figure out the feeding regimen for your hedgie. as the hedgie weight is very small, they can have only *very tiny* amount of herbs and i would not even bother with that in the beginning.

i would try veggies instead because it'd be very hard to measure the correct amounts of herbs for their weight (at least it is hard for me). but some hedgies do love cilantro, so you could try a little bit of that. i don't know of any 'human' mild herbs that'd be poisonous for hedgies, but, again, the devil is in the detail (the amount).
