alimentary needs

two questions:
1. I hear that adult hedgies can be lactose intolerant, but what's the consensus on adolescent ones?

2. if your hedgies like berries, what kind?

I know that a little cottage cheese and yogurt won't hurt them.

My Mr. Piggles loves cheese, but if he eats too much his stool gets runny; they are lactose intolerant, but small amounts is okay (I'm part lactose intolerant, but as long as I keep my intake to a minimum I'm okay. I think it's the same with them...)

My babies won't touch berries. I've tried raspberries and blackberries and blueberries. Maybe I should try strawberries or thimble berries or something..
