I adopted my little boy, Misha, in January, when I was living on my own (along with a ferret and a cat.) He was very sociable, he would wake up and come out of his sleep sack as soon as he heard my voice. Misha was also very affectionate & just an all around perfect little guy ( Read more... )

Maybe he's getting ready to start quilling? That could account for the behavior change, too.

Otherwise, just try to keep getting him out and try to get him to feel comfortable enough to uncurl. Hopefully he'll get back to normal soon!

When mine get cranky over anything, I spend some quiet time with them with my shirt over them so they can smell that I am near and something is normal and familiar. I don't talk to much during this time because I figure they have enough going on. Your hedge may vary, of course. But that seems to help bring them around after a bit.
