wheel woes

Do wheels have to be replaced often?? After just a year my silent wheel will no longer stay upright while Spike is running. Thats a bit annoying since it cost about $27. I think the metal legs have bent under the weight, but I'm afraid if I try to bend it back myself, it will just become uneven

See http://qualitycage.com/exwheels.html and realize that they're reasonably inexpensive and last a LONG time. I've had one for 3 years, daily use, daily washings with warm water and a little nylon scrub brush.
