First of all, a sincere thanks to everyone who's been so willing to pass along helpful Mac tips. It's funny, I keep finding myself at work trying to explain to people why it is that I was willing to jump ship and switch, and it's nearly impossible to explain it to people since my answer is that I knew that there'd be all kinds of people in fandom

Huzzah for a new computer! I'm going to be jumping ship to a MacBook as soon as I can afford purchasing another laptop--the one I've got has taken a lot of abuse over the last few years and is starting to fall apart. :P

I've never really hated Windows per se, but after seeing my partner and one of our housemates be so much happier using Macs and after finally working with one myself at work, I'm looking forward to having one as my own computer. :)
