I could be wrong about this, having only paid as much attention as I was damn near forced to by TV, but wasn't the paternity case already underway when Smith died? I seem to recall there being mentions of it in the early barrage of coverage. If so, then at least what-his-face was interested before Smith's death. Dunno if that makes him any better a father or not.

LOL. I stand corrected. I have, however, obviously revealed how very little I paid attention to ANS before her death.

Poor Leeza was clearly one of those people who just didn't feel the music.
Aha. That's what I've been trying to pin down about her, but hadn't been able to. Thank you. She was clearly so enthusiastic and having such a great time, and it was a shame to see her go, but it wasn't a huge surprise. I was a bit disturbed by how much Tony was having to tone himself and his movements down, especially this week, in order to mask/complement her skill level. (I've seen him perform in a professional competition.)

And wow, does Billy Ray Cyrus suck as a dancer.I'm kind of surprised, too, because I was under the impression that Country went hand-in-hand with at least some level of dancing. You're right; he is trying, however, and IMHO he was much better this week than last ( ... )

I know. I wanted to like Clive, but it just seems to me that he's not listening to the judges, and sure, it's always hard to listen to criticism--esp. if you're bad at/new to something or otherwise out of your area of expertise, and I do think that if Len was going to require the dancers to step it up in terms of training, it might have been polite to give them a week's notice instead of a surprise inspection as he did, but yeah. Me too.
