Update on the book: making progress. I've done a few more updates on the website (including mockup cover and blurb for Time and Fevers, if you want to look ahead). I wrestled the interior of the print edition into shape, having a little fun in the process (drop caps!) and need to embark on e-book and print covers for real. I'm looking at early

Love the image for the TaF cover! Yay!

For the final covers, I'd recommend putting a bit of a border or shadow around the letters, and maybe increasing the contrast/saturation on the TfT cover a bit? It's beautiful picture, but on my screen at least, a bit dark -- not sure how well it would show up on ebook readers. Also having one of the lines in italics, maybe, for variety?

Yes - I think it looks particularly dark because of the compression, but I'll fiddle more with contrast (my photographer was supposed to be working on this, but he's a little busy writing papers and playing banjo in "Winter's Tale" yes this makes perfect sense). And I'll play with the letters too. I really needed a no-effort quick-and-dirty version for now.
