Still passing mnay, many good vibes to JZ, and hoping the bedrest doesn't bore her to tears.

Sadly, bored to tears is part and parcel of the beast.

Which is one of the many, many reasons my eyes spin in my head when writers use Pregancy Complications and Bedrest for Extra Added Drama. I mean, there are moments of upsetting drama, sure, but honestly, those are usually over pretty quickly, and then it's mostly just the most skull-crushing bored frustration in the universe.

You've been in a good writing groove lately. B/V calls to you.

I'd have to read at least three or four B/V comics first.

Betty and Veronica went punk, eh?

I finally located a copy of the early Leiber stories of Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser. Swords and Deviltry, $2 for an old paperback at 12th St books.

I've wanted to see the film version of Dr. Lao (I think it's called Seven Faces of...?) with Tony Randall since reading about it in Psychotronic Video Haven't had the chance yet.

I just bought you the first Elric book the other day. Acorn Books is going out of business so they were having a 75% off sale. I still need your mailing address, incidentally.

The Seven Faces of Dr. Lao does show up on cable from time to time.

I've been tempted to write a fake set of book club questions for the end of the book just for the Nabokov of it.

YES! I beg you to do this.

It may not show up in the book, but it could be a Special Feature on the Director's Cut DVD.

FYI, I still have the other images you sent me, and I'm slowly icon-ing them. I just can't figure out the best way to highlight the clippers on Hopey's neck.

The clippers on Hopey's neck is really what it's all about.
