This is outstanding. I love fanfic as an escape, but it's even better when it's grounded in the real world and the kinds of struggles couples actually face. I love Kevin and Mike, but all of the other bandom people are so awesome in this I almost can't cope. Seriously, they're fantastic. And I'm really impressed with the way you handled Nick; so often a negative reaction to coming out in fic is a reason to vilify someone. You made his reaction strong and negative and understandable.
