I've (foolishly) been trying to understand this idiotic statement from Useless Badteeth's point of view... here's a guy whose life is, superficially, much like mine. And he goes through his day thinking that _every_ aspect of human intelligence has been replicated artificially. Except forgetting?! What's that _like_??

Eventually I just had to come to the conclusion that he couldn't possibly actually believe the shit that comes out of his mouth. I mean, _I_ say shit without thinking pretty frequently...so rather than trying to empathize with utter nonsense, I only have to empathize with the idea that he's talking crap. Ahhhh, that's better.
