Okay, I finally have a shiny laptop I can run stuff on.

So, what do I need to buy to have Kara/Sam Sims? All the expansion packs are confusing.

You'd be fine with just the base game. I run all the expansions, but none of them are necessary for BSG stuff really. The only thing you might want is Seasons, if you want the tattoo's i'm going to upload in the next couple of days...they work through an overlay that only comes with that expansion. Apartment life is useful if you want multiple families on the same lot, but don't want them all to be part of a single family...that's what i'm doing with my current bsg sims.
