LOL about the wank. It's going to be huge. HUGE. And I'm going to be sitting with my feet up, watching it all.

I was a bit WTF-ish over the Snape/Lily stuff, too.

And Neville. OMG. I wouldn't be surprised if you said you heard my squee over where you are.

I've been trying to sort-of hide my reactions as I read, because there are two more people in the family who want to read it. Luckily, they were all either outside or gone at certain parts, so they didn't see me sobbing about Hedwig or Dobby or Fred or the end, when Harry goes off alone... or hear my squees at the kisses (and every time Neville came into the picture.)

I really liked Dean in this, too, actually, for some reason. Maybe because it showed that he was a nice guy, and kind of justified Ginny liking him, if that makes sense. And I know you ship George/Luna (and I do, too, actually), but I liked the little hints of a possible Dean/Luna relationship, too.

I'm really glad I read the book alone. My reactions were very...erm, pronouned, lol.

I liked the Dean bits too, now maybe all the DEAN IS A JERK fic will stop. And yeah...I did like the Dean/Luna. It came out of nowhere, but it was still nice. I'll happily read any fic for them, along with my George/Luna. :D

I've sort of skimmed over the wank...as much as I am looking forward to it, I don't think I have the energy today!

rofl, honestly? I don't care who hated it. We always knew that there would be a distinct dividing line between who loved it and who hated it. I'm just ridiculously happy to say I am firmly on the LOVE side. The people that hated it are just going to bring the lulz the next few weeks, and oh how beautiful it will be.

Oh, they think they have fuel. But that was one of the most touching bits to me...Ron NEEDED to do that. Ron really needed to find his own way...Dumbledore knew that, I think. JKR said with HBP that Ron needed to mature...this was a continuation of that, to me. And oh, how he did. My Ron is a man now. D:

I remember a while back I read a H/G story that sort of revolved around a Snape/Lily love story in the past - one side and everything. That's the only reason I remotely saw it coming ( ... )

Yeah, i've seen Snape/Lily all over the place, I just never thought it would be canon.

I've already seen wank flying about how she must have made Hermione and Ginny breeding machine SAHMs since she didn't give us career info. Ugh. I think she just wanted to wrap it up it smoothly, without a lot of clunky extra info. I get that. And she's so good to her fans, its not like we'll never find out.

Albus Severus made me laugh, but the names don't really bother me. I always expected them to name the kids James and Lily...that was never in question for me. Not naming a child after Sirius was the most jolting, imo.

And Freddy is reserved for George. D:

I really wanted to know what happened to George. Someone better write a really good fic about it, or I might die.

I always sort of expected it to end in a way that mirrored James and Lily's life together, except obviously, Harry and Ginny wouldn't die. I think I just like the image - the consistancy of it: a red-headed witch and a wizard with untidy black hair holding their son, who I definitely thought would be named after Dumbledore or Sirius. But it seems to make sense now that I think about it - they named the kids after the people they didn't really have those particular names associated to. Harry and Ginny never knew James and Lily; they never called Dumbledore nor Snape by their first names.

Lupin and Fred's deaths broke me. ;_;

Snape pretty much died for no reason, and that's a big bummer.

I'm so so thrilled Neville (PROFESSOR LONGBOTTOM!!!) survived, as did Luna. I wanted to hear about Luna in the epilogue...

Fred was like...the last Weasley I expected to die. Absolutely cruel. ._. At least with Remus, Tonks died as well. It would have been horrible otherwise. But oh, poor Teddy. D:

I am so so so happy Neville is a professor. Gah, it just made me grin, reading that. And yeah, I would love to hear more about Luna. I'm sure we will, eventually.

The epilogue fit nicely.. it's very open ended, as you said.. I expect lots of fic!

I really can't wait for all the fic that comes out of this.
