[Her gaze is calm, focused. Those who know her might be able to tell that she's stressed.]

Leaving's a stupid idea. If you do it, it just means that I'm going to surpass you. So leave when you're ready to be beaten by a woman.

[There's a little bit of a smirk on her face with the last bit. It's very faint, though.]Not like women are less than men ( Read more... )

Playing, I think is the key word there, as Anko said. He's just biding his time; I don't trust Izuna either, but being openly hostile towards either won't win us anything. Same with Itachi.

I can't speak for any of the others, though. Sasuke, I think, is just happy to have family, however warped they are.

As for leaving, I hope that wasn't directed at me, Tenten.

So we lie to them while they lie to us. I know there's no neat and tidy solution, not when people come back to life. But... I guess not.

He's running in with his eyes firmly closed.

No. Tsunade-sama is gone. I know no one has a choice when they leave, but they're stuck in time, right? So while they're static, I'm training. They lose. Just as much as we do.

'Lie to them'? Madara could start a war, one we might not be able to win. And even if we could win, the casualties wouldn't be just ninja. There's nothing that could be accomplished by being openly hostile. Keep your enemies close.

Of course he is. Maybe he'll run into something and be forced to open his eyes, though.

I'm not sure what we do here will affect anything back home...but yeah. Ok.

I wouldn't be surprised if he wants a war no matter what we do. But... yeah. There are civilians here.

Maybe.

Maybe it won't. But if they come back...

Why did you even answer, then? Seems pointless.

[x,y], and whenever you want to come. I'm out here stretching and staying warm, since dinner just needs to be heated, it's already made.

I will be there soon, then. I could use the exercise.

I'll keep an eye out for you, Lee.

[Tenten continues stretching, playing with her chakra a bit to see if she can repel snow falling toward her the same way she's standing on it. It's a neat exercise, and by the time anyone joins her, she'll be warm and ready.]

...Delusions, Tenten?

[Have a smile.]

Delusions. Like thinking that they're prettier than the girls on their teams.

[And for a few moments, Neji has too much pride to understand the statement; it shows in the way he blinks and begins to look contemplative until he frowns and manages to look indignant.]

That's ridiculous, Tenten.

[She grins, but there's a little guardedness in her eyes. She doesn't want him upset, just wants a smile.]

I know. It's called teasing. Don't worry, you're pretty.

Did you want to train sometime here? I've got dinner put together. People will just need to heat their serving.
