Lately, I.. I've been feeling quite a bit better.. lighter, even. I'm so glad that Lulu decided to come to Squenix. It really helps out to know that someone I care about who remembers me is not too far away

If I may, Lady Yuna...Cousel is not always shown merely upon gazing the faces of the past, and may, in fact, do just the opposite of what you intend. Perhaps the answers you seek are not spawned from the Spira of the past, they may not be as far away as you believe. From what I've known of you in the times we've crossed paths, albiet on rather cross terms, your strength always seemed to stem from within, from yourself and drawn from those around you. It was quite admirable. I truly hope that in the time I have been absent your ideals and beliefs have not changed so much that you would lose yourself so easily. T'would be a sad thing to believe.
Please forgive me, it is, of course, your decision. I have no room to speak.
You still haven't.. lost your way with words from being a Maester, have you, Seymour?
I will be the first to admit that I've changed. I wanted to change. But after so many years of not knowing.. Sometimes my curiosity eats away at me too.
You're right, drawing strength from those around you is most important, but.. I have also been on my own more and more lately. As such, I believed that my Father was always present, even if just in spirit. I can't help but wonder what exchanges we could have made over the years..
One cannot change who they truly are, I suppose. The same could be said for me, Maester or not.
Change is not a bad thing, I hope you do not take it as such. It was only natural for you to adapt once the fayth disappeared, you would not have survived had you continued on your original path.
Dwelling on what mistakes you could have made, or prevented, does you no good in the present. What is in the past is in the past, is it not? Merely recall what has happened for what it was and nothing more or you will eventually drive yourself to a halt. Linger not, but that does not mean for you to forget, lest the mistakes repeat themselves. They are references now, tools to help guide you through the life you have.
High summoner or not, you are, after all, only human. Taking too much responsibility upon yourself is not only foolish, but unhealthy. Live your life.
