I totally agree about these smaller conventions - that relaxed feel is great for just hanging out with friends and makes it seem as though the guest are just some more friends that we are getting to know a bit better. I was so looking forward to Jewel, Kim and Brianna, and they didn't disappoint - while Kathryn held her own admirably. All round, a good time, and definitely good value!

Yeah, definitely :).

I did like that about the con, that it seems more like hanging out with friends than with celebs... especially Kim and Briana's M&Gs/Coffee Lounges. Can you imagine having frank discussions like that with J2? Just wouldn't happen!

Ha ha no - though maybe of they gave them joint lounges - imagine the fun of having J2 bouncing banter off each other in a smaller forum... mmm that would be fun.

Now, that would be an amazing M&G - J2 together in a small room with a handful of us?!

I dread to think how much that would cost though :P.

I'm all for small cons :). I've been 'spoiled' with CCAS last June tho. There will never be a smaller con than that (if you could even call it a con)!

Looks like a great weekend :). The pictures aren't too bad despite the light.

All your stories are really starting to make me want to go to Asylum in a near future... :p
