Thank you for the review. I think the pacing is on track with what they have done over the past few years. I do like when they focus on the boys more and not so much the others.

Seeing the tie in with Crowley and Rowena was very interesting and the fact that she was trying to kill Dean was just pissing me off. What's interesting is the fact that Crowley is not trying to kill them but then again - he knows that Demon!Dean was a major pain in his ass, instead of being good for Crowley Demon!Dean undermined and could have literally thrown a coup - that would have been something Demon!Dean taking over hell and kicking Crowley to the curb. Enticing Sam to be the Boy King yep gone off on the deep end there.....

Thank you again.

Can I agree with everything and not look like a suck up? lol

After last week, I was really worried it would be disastrous and I would have been really pissed if Bobby came back and it wasn't a good episode. But as we Swiss say I was disappointed in good. In other words, I loved it!

I agree with the pacing thing too. It's been off these last seasons, but to me it's been even worse this season. Not sure the 12 episodes per season is the answer but maybe considering cutting it in 2 like Teen Wolf did once could be nice.

I almost teared up to at Sam reading Bobby's letter. My throat certainly tightened.
Seeing Dean hustling pool again was great. And whoop! that flash of black eyes, damn, my heart jumped.
And I'm really glad Crowley finally kicked Rowena's ass to the curb. Now I wonder what she's gonna come up with the get revenge tho.

I'm finally again anticipating next weeks episode, instead of dreading it. :)

For once this season it did feel like the Rowena/Crowley storyline fit in with the rest of the season. All the other episodes it always just felt like they were filler. It's too bad we couldn't have had less of their story this year, which I have found just boring. But their storyline fit in nicely with this episode.

There has been a lot of inconsequential filler this season with characters other than Dean and Sam. If we have to have filler, I would rather it be with Dean and Sam, characters I actually care about and want to see more of than Cas and Crowley. Of course, that would mean more work for Jensen and Jared, but oh well.

I did love Dean's little trip to the bar and pool game. We haven't seen things like this is a long time. That was fun, and probably my favorite part of the whole episode.
