This was beautiful, sad, and hopeful all at once. There was certainly a melancholy feel to it, but the end uplifted it enough I wasn't ready to hang myself out of depression. And I really, really love Norway making the first move-I feel the guy gets characterized as so passive he's borderline comatic way too often. I mean, Norge was a Viking too! He's got the fire in there somewhere.

Wonderful job~please, write more Nordics!

Oh, yes, I definitely agree with you about Norway. He's either a complete doormat or passive-aggressive in a lot of fiction, and I don't particularly like either interpretation of him.

Thanks so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it! (:

The heavy-heartedness of this was really well done. There's so much emotion behind the three and their drinking antics. And it was wonderful to see Norge help break that, at least for Denmark. As for the other two, I hope they had a happy ending.

“So…if the person you like knows you like them, they’ll make out with you?” Oh Prussia, maybe I don't want you to change. Ever. ♥

I'd like to think that all three stories ended up somewhat happily. Because as much as I love my historical drama and angst, I like the idea that in the modern day the nations are relatively happier.

THank you for reading! (:
