It kinda reminds me of my deacon back home. When he started we still had our old priest who was a genious and sometimes got standing ovations for his homilies (if you're even allowed to do that but hey). Deacon Peter had nothing on that and when he wrote his own homilies it was always like that pastor in Pollyanna-- all about death and sin and soooo boring. Then he started just making his homilies out of stuff he found in print, BUT, he always gave it credit. "I found this in the NY Times," "I found this in a book,"...
