Today's a productive day. I posted a book review on my domain blog, posted in three other different journals (including this one), and wrote 650 words of fanfic. That's a piece of cake for many people, but not for me, the lazy procratinator. And I just want to wallow in character meta and character dynamics and wahh why should there be a plot ( Read more... )

Recently I can't even write 200 words, so congrats.

Yay, StS rambling :D

It might be that it was some point of the narrative before some discussion with the editor changed it. Don't you get the same feeling about the whole "orphans are siblings" stuff? It's mentioned only at the beginning of the series and makes no real contribution in the plot later, to the point where it could have well not existed in the first place. The only reason it was introduced was to make Ikki lose his mind apparently. My personal opinion is that sending not your own kids to Saint training is cruel enough >.> Just get this combined with the cruel treatment that Ikki experienced and it would be enough to get Ikki snap at some point.

Ah, Manigoldo... you always leave thinking until after the fact? :P

Well... Let's see what happens in ND. It might be that Kurumada will bring our Goldies back.

The way to write, I've discovered, is just to sit and type. Anything. Any word, even ones I dislike. The delete button is created for this very purpose.

And it's not even mentioned in the anime, so yeah, that part is useless. Doesn't make any difference whether the 100 kids are half-siblings or not, some of them will still die and some survive.
I personally like to think Hyouga is a full-blooded Russian :D

If those urchins follow Manigoldo because they don't know what else to do, he'll eventually come up with things for them to do. ^^

So that'd be... ND Goldies vs TOS Goldies? Kuramada, make it so. /Picard mode

But the problem appears when you sit, try to write and no word appears in your mind. orz Guess I need a break.

Not to mention it doesn't really affects relationships between the characters >.>
This would be much better for him IMO :D

... I fear to think what these things might be, taking into consideration his "babysitting" Tenma & Co ^^;

Might be :D I don't mind such a thing at all. And at least it would break the schemes he uses >.>;

That's decided, then. In my headcanon Hyouga is 100% Russian.

I suddenly had this idea where Manigoldo is a Sherlock Holmes-like detective, and the street kids are his version of Baker Street (Venice?) regulars...
