Several days ago,
bizarreoptimism made several posts about her interpretation of the second PotC movie. I and others wanted to hear more, so I decided to set up a chat time so that we could share our views on the subject. This turned into three hours of us egging each other on-uh, that is, conversing about our favorite characters and what Suefic has done to

While I had a few problems with DMC I did think they did some very interesting things with the characters. Especially Elizabeth, whom I feared would succumb to the fate of many a female "character" in a sequel and rather than get anything cool to do would merely exist as a motivating factor for her boyfriend (I'm looking at *you* "Bourne Supremacy" and *you* "Back to the Future II" ("Yes! I really enjoyed reading all of this. It's like sitting back with coffee and listening to people's opinions on something you like, and they're smart and they don't have hidden agendas and they're just discussing the STORIES. Thank you for concentrating on plots and characterizations and NOT devolving into 'ships. Ugh, I am so sick of 'ship wars in this fandom.
