I have a wonderful Real Estate Attorney but she's not doing private practice anymore... She's been recommending Walsh & Sweeney, LLP (534 Main Street, Suite 3 Weymouth MA 02190 - 781-337-3800), her former employers -- if you call them, tell them you're a friend of a friend of Melissa's. :-)

You should go with a home inspector, even for new construction. I highly recommend the guy I've used (twice): Dan DeStefano -- 508-263-0758 -- http://www.ashi.org/homeinspectors/Massachusetts/Medford/100CJ/

I don't know any loan officers down South of here, but I worked with MBO'Keefe@NEMoves.com (Mary Beth O'Keefe) out of Chelmsford; she was great but I'm sure you can find someone just as great and more local...

Congrats and good luck!!
