Also, to people saying "Batman did an acurate look at The Joker than The Dark Knight" need to wake up. Christopher's take on Batman is set in a more realistic setting.

I'll never understand this argument in a million years. Batman '89 was supposed to be more 'comic-ish' and campy like.....yanno, the comics?

TDK was a more realistic setting. Nicholson!Joker would have looked so ridiculous in TDK it wouldn't have been funny at all, just painful.

I saw Batman the first time years and years ago and many times after that, so I was well versed with Nicholson's Joker, and he wasn't scary as people said. It was fucking Jack Nicholson with makeup on. Nothing more. He sounded, acted and looked like.......Jack Nicholson and I'm sorry, but what they did to give him that smile always looked fucking ridiculous to me.

That guy on those boards saying how people are just obsessed with Heath Ledger and that Nicholson is the true Joker is such a hypocrite it's sad. He's a Nicholson fanboy, and it's obvious. If he actually thinks that Nicholson did anything other than just act like himself and 'ham it up', he has his head up Nicholson's ass waaaaaay to far ( ... )
