I spent today running errands, volunteering at A's school, and keeping a group of very energetic Daisy Girl Scouts in check. This rain had everyone going nuts. When I was a kid, my scout leader always kept a jump rope around for emergencies. Rained in? Snowed in? No problem. Get the kids to jump rope. It's distracting AND tiring.
