We had to put Russo to sleep yesterday. We both had to leave work to do it together and after it was done I had to go back and work through an v. busy night at the restaurant. Nic spent the day with her mom and is not doing very well with it. I'm not either but she's been looking after me and not herself and I've had to be strong for her this time ( Read more... )

Aside from the "my condolences" and "I'm sorry for your loss" (which seems trite to say and all that but I guess I've said them)...

Oh man... H, I'm so sorry. :(

I know that it's not much, really, the words. Not that there's ever a good time, really, but the timing especially seems to suck right now.

Poor Russo. Having a cat so long and through so much is amazing, and it looks like she helped you a lot.
