I have no idea what to say about the election results. I just keep thinking about what they are going to do when they move to The White House. It will be quite the downgrade for them. Will they have everything dipped in gold? So many questions. (By the way, I think of these things to stay sane. Other questions will lead to madness

I got through Trump's victory speech by focusing on poor Baron Trump who was obviously way past his bedtime. Watching his eyes bug out and roll to the top of his head while he struggled to stay awake was the only moment of levity during that horror.

I had a moment post-election day optimism that Trump has never delivered on his promises, so perhaps all the lies he told during the campaign would amount to nothing. But even if he's an ineffective baffoon of a leader, Pence and the house of Republican white males will be there to make sure the rights/protections for women, minorities and the planet are stripped away. It's very much like stages of grief where all the feels are rushing in.

Oh my gosh, I was completely watching Barron too, haha.

I keep telling myself that with the Republicans in charge of everything right now and Trump as president, maybe they will mess up so badly that we will only need to get through the next 4 years and then we will be guaranteed a Democratic win.
