I need to post before it feels like A THING, which it tends to do after the 2 week mark. The day I posted about NOLA, my coworkers threw us a baby shower. It was low key and fun, and really sweet of everyone to get together and support Carey and I like that:

My (pretty pregnant) sister and (very pregnant) cousin have heard the same advice re: changing tables and the rocking chair, so there must be safety in numbers!

I know your reactions to parental proximity have to do with a lot of different factors, but there are worse things than being 6 minutes from the babysitter!

Oh, I definitely agree! I'm not so much worried about the mom we move TOWARD. But in moving near one, we move further from the other. It's her heartbreak I can't bear.
