I feel so out of touch with "the kids these days" especially when I'm around younger friends. I remember being in third grade and vowing to myself (after studying my evil math teacher's polyester bellbottomed outfit from the 60's) that I would never be uncool and I would always know what was in fashion. Well, I kept half of that promise. lol My closet looks great but boy am I uncool.
My friend Nickie is from Evansville. This is hilarious. I wonder if Becky and Nickie know each other. Although Nickie is 30. Maybe not.
I thought it was only me that couldn't tolerate getting obliterated anymore. I had 2 beers at the Pipers Kilt a month or so back and felt AWFUL all the next day.
And have I mentioned? NY misses you and Greta. A lot.
Kirsten's having this same issue at her grad program at OSU... though I think she secretly likes the drama. Just do what you can to keep it to small doses. I know you're around these guys a lot, but school folk are like colleagues in grad programs- friendLY, but not necessarily FRIENDS.
And I, too, love being 30. :-) Hopefully I'll like 40 when I get there, etc. etc.
