Wow, the picture of the dough seeping out the vents in the lid is just awesome. Glad it turned out so well in the end!!

Seriously- yeast is no joke! I almost broke the lid trying to get it off.

It tasted great- although it was an adjustment in flavor. Almost every commercial bread these days is sweetened with high fructose corn syrup, and Zoe's recipe didn't use any sweetener.

Well, that's part of the gimmic, I suppose. Once I made the master dough batch, I actually spent less than 5 minutes of hands-on time every day making it. However, I spent way more than 5 minutes hands-off time, letting the loaves rest and bake.

The pic of the dough coming through the vents is like art. For reals.

When I walked into the kitchen and saw that, I couldn't do anything but laugh hysterically.

Super!! I've been doing a lot more cooking and bread is definitely on the list. Zoe's recipes look like a ton of fun! Especially if I have a slotted lid... ;-)

Cooking is one of the many things (including sleeping) that I never seemed to have enough time for when I worked at MP. Carey is particularly happy to come home to the "little woman" who needs someone to sample her new recipes.
