When I went away for Easter, I left Woody in his tank, happily swimming around with 5 goldfish (I originally bought 6, but one got caught under the filter and I found his sad orange body the next day). I don't know a thing about turtles or fish. I guess keep an eye out for the remaining one? Or try again?

If the lone goldfish makes it, then I think it was fish canabalism. But if he disappeares, too, then Woody is the culprit. I'll have to wait and see.

As a vegan, you can be properly horrified. As a carnivore, I can just feel vaugely ill at ease.

We'll see how the last guy fares. Damn dirty animals!

Awwww I coulda saved you the heartbreak! Those little guys will eat anything. Also putting that many goldfish in a tank less than 60 gallons would have killed them eventually. You should join the goldfish_bowl community. They can tell you all kinds of fish saving tips.

I shouldn't have fed Woody in the tank. Seems like I chummed the water and instigated a feeding frenzy. The goldfish were very small, and seemed very happy. Until the got savagely murdered, that is.
