When I got there, they told me that my insurance was only good for a *discount* on the session. Well, I was too embarassed to ask what the going rate for a session was they told me that AFTER the discount it was 90$). ( Read more... )

It's called Tretinoin. It's the generic form of Retin-A. And it doesn't mess around.

Looking for jobs online, too? Usually didn't work very well, for me, unless it was JobTrak (now MonsterTrak?) Curious if it works for you.

Did you talk to Matthew?

Re: Extra meal... I tried Slim Fast awhile back -- I would still be hungry after drinking a can, so I would end up eating a meal PLUS drinking the Slim Fast as a drink instead of a meal substitute.

I'm all over the online thing. I sent a follow-up email to Matthew yesterday. He didn't respond yet so I'm gonna call him today. Yeah- the whole "shake as a meal" thing would only fly for me at like, breakfast, when I'm not that hungry anyway. A meal is a real event for me.

Ha ha ha. They need to put a warning on the label that says "You will feel as though you're slowing dieing of starvation for the first two weeks. This is normal." I preferred the Nestle drinks although you're still starving all day. I think it's a cruel trick. "Lets make chocolate drinks and bars in infant size proportions. The hungrier we make them, the more they will eat and drink, the less weight they will lose, the more they will buy, the more money we will make."

It's all a conspiracy. LOL

Don't even get me started. The Special K bars, although a tad too sweet, are yummy but pumped FULL of air.

I MUST know exactly what this stuff is, if it works and how well it is doing. I have a good "two feet" complexion but when you get close enough (or perhaps when I get too close to a mirror), I have spots on my face that have been the same since, yes, puberty as well. Mainly my nose and chin. I didn't know a miracle cream existed that would make the "cloggage" of years that not even my $40 sucker machine could get rid of. Years of sand and salt and apricot and scrubbing and the solution resides in a cream? I heart modern medicine.

That's a great phrase! ethernetbunny May 20 2005, 18:58:16 UTC
"two feet" complexion

Have you tried getting regular facials? Possibly very painful, but it helps a lot. I can recommend a place.

My friend tried Accutane, I think... Her hair started falling out!

It seems silly. I rarely ever get blemishes but my pores can still appear dirty or black regardless so it's more of a self concious "can anyone else see them" thing. I haven't tried getting one yet. I was skeptical that a facial could fix deep pore issues.

Accutane made her hair fall out or she went to them for help when her hair started falling out? Either way, how awful!

It's the city. Being in the city, dirt gets under the nails even if you don't do anything 'dirty'. Skin & hair also gets dirty from all the soot, pollution, etc.

Accutane made her hair fall out, I think.
