   I couldn't blog yesterday, because my parents have problems with their internet connection, and I didn't take my laptop with me for the overnight visit. Anyway, it's nice to be back, and the naming party was a success. The only problem we had was with boiling eggs for the pirogi spread: I managed to break two of them into the boiling water.

I think that's awesome that you knit the socks so fast. How was it that your learned? Did you teach yourself or...? I can only knit scarves, and even then not very well. -_-

Thanks, it did go very well:). I learned to knit socks all by myself, and it wasn't an immediate success, but you learn by doing. We learn it at school, but I stopped going before we got that far in knitting, and I can't really use a sewing machine at all. Everyone says that turning the heel is really difficult to learn, but I don't think it is. It just takes a bit of concentrating.
