Do you push the elevator button more than once? Do you really believe it makes the elevator faster?

It's time for another deep question, as you can see by the title. My answer is no, I don't push the elevator/lift button several times, nor do I imagine it would help. I'm not a very impatient person as a rule, and if I'm ever in a hurry, I can use the stairs.

My answer is yes... because for some reason the elevator at my work is prone to forgetting what it was doing and needing a reminder. No lie. I usually just use the stairs though.

I don't really like change. I had a major one last year when I lost my boyfriend, job, and place I was living all at once. I'd prefer to stay change free for a little while because of that. Or at least avoid major changes like that.

Some changes are better than others... The worst changes for me have been when people dear to me have died, and it really doesn't seem to make any difference how "prepared" you are for it. I hope your life will bring more changes for the better in the future. Last year must have been tough for you.

I don't push the button twice or believe it'll make it go faster.

I think that for the most part I don't initially enjoy change, just because I'm somewhat ornery at times. Think once I get used to the change I deal ok with it.

Good luck with the places you applied to. I hope you hear something soon.

Thanks, I hope to hear from them soon, too. I'm trying to get an appartment with one or two rooms and a kitchenette, and they are the most sought after. Luckily, there is still five more months to go...
Some changes take more time to get used to, and not everything is good. But my life tends to be monotonous a lot of the time, so maybe I welcome change more just now.
