Getting things into perspective

   I've been feeling a bit bad today. You see, I sent off that translation I did, and almost by return of e-mail, the client pointed out a mistake, that was simply an extra word I had left in. The other client, whom I wrote the bill for, wasn't altogether happy with my work either, and said she had to correct some punctuation errors and small ( Read more... )

Everyone makes mistakes every now and again. Don't beat yourself up over it. Just do your best, and it'll all work out. :)

Yeah, I know. It's good, once in a while, to make a mistake and notice that you have things to learn.

Definitely agree with the above. I think you have a positive attitude about things, though. :-)

Like you, I sometimes have problems with perspective. I really need to work on that. :\ You know, I never really thought about it, but I do think your therapist made a good point. I can definitely see how that's true for some people.

I do usually have a positive attitude about things, and blogging for me is about sharing the good things in life, with only the occasional rant and wallowing in self-pity, just to keep things real;). I'll just have to do better next time.
My therapist is very clever, I liked talking to her. She helped me get a lot of perspective, and sometimes I miss that. Not going back, though:).

No, I haven't seen it. I thought it might be a bit too gruesome for me. Maybe I'll check it out at some point, when I have company to watch it with...
