Only 20 minutes left. I love summer hours. Now, if only it could be summer, I'd be in business.

This weekend was a blur or boringness for the most part. We rented In Good Company Friday, which was very good and Saturday I rented Darkness, which really wasn't. Someone please tell me this is not the reason that Lena Olin didn't come back to ( Read more... )

1. I love that icon.

2. I always tell people not to get Darkness, because everyone hates it. Like, everyone.

3. Lena actually made that before she left Alias - it sat on the shelves for two years ;)

1) Thank you!

2) I think it was more the acting than anything else. The ending was kind of neat but for some reason the whole thing just didn't sit well.

3) Ah, good to know!

I miss Buffy and Angel.

Am so with you on that one. ::contemplates borrowing the DVDs and going through all of them a third time::

I haven't done a Buffy marathon since the show ended. I guess I was sort of, maybe, a little bitter (although I wanted it to end, which is just weird, right?). I think I may do that sometime soon.

I didn't watch 'Hell's Kitchen' because we watch Gordon Ramsay on the Food Network - and *there* - he says 'fuck' a lot - LOL!

How was it?

It was pretty okay. He's a bastard and a half but it was funny. He does enjoy the word fuck and many others that were constantly bleeped out. We'll definitely watch it again just see how it goes.

The man is not very nice but we were fairly entertained. ;) Maybe we're just evil.

I definitely feel a marathon a-brewin'.

I really don't like Louis XIV either and being the judgmental bitch I am, I think anyone who claims to is only doing so because the person thinks (s)he will get some sort of hipster/indie cred. ;b It's like, I like The Arcade Fire because they are amazing, not because they are the indie darlings du jour. In fact, TAF might not be 'cool' anymore since everyone and their grandmother are rocking out to 'Wake Up' but does that mean I don't like them? No. And just because Louis XIV is the indie flavor of the week doesn't make me like their crappy music any better. As for Keane, I don't know why, but I only like them when they're doing covers of other people's songs.

I think I need to start watching 'Hell's Kitchen.' I read a really fun article about the chef enfant terrible in the NY Times recently and he's got great credentials; he used the be the head chef at the Connaught (he may still be), probably my favorite hotel in London.

Oh, good! I thought I was missing something. Everyone was like they're great, buy it and I couldn't get past the third song. I have no clue when it comes to new music. I think I get stuck in my ways and don't embrace the new.

I like Keane but I've never heard any covers from them. I used to only buy a CD when I liked at least 3 songs and I've started buying at one which just doesn't seem to be working out in the long run :)

Hell's Kitchen was funny. We definitely laughed because the man is vicious. It entertained.
