greatest episode of the season, or greatest episode of the season
I.
I don't know where to start, never has so much been so relevant to so many of my interests, I.
Um. This is long?

this is what spoilers do when they love someone, and are very image-heavy )

Right? People get caught up in this idea that girls have to be fierce and display ZERO "girly" traits to be strong, and that's just doing it wrong. I mean I understand wanting plots that don't involve Gwen being in danger, but for what the episode was, I thought she managed just fine. The strength it took for her to hold herself together when her life's falling apart... that's exactly why I love Gwen so much. THAT'S who she is. What do I care about a sword?
Because we still have a very slim idea about why Morgana wants everyone dead so badly.
I know, SOME PEOPLE, but not everyone. Every time she said "why didn't you just kill him" I died a little. WHERE did that come from? ...and why didn't she have this efficient mindset when it came to Uther?

Plus, she brought up the idea of the girls fighting once the villagers proved too scarce -- because she's brave and steps up when she has to, but when they headed into Ealdor to begin with, it was "I can mend armor and sharpen swords". She's NOT a natural swordswoman or anything; practicalities are her wheelhouse.
