lmao, I'll try to keep this one brief.

I love that Gwen is slowly finding, and learning to assert, her own personal strength, and learning to do it in a world where she's never allowed to forget that she's powerless. I love her unrelenting goodness even when she's tempted to do otherwise. I love the tight rein she keeps on her passions even though it's not always good for her or her relationships. I love her stupid noble-ness. I love her smile, her quiet competence, her will to keep moving forward. And her hair.

And I'll stop now. *g*

BONNIE BENNETT. I love her sense of humour, her sweetness, her loyalty - her fierce love for Elena, and her willingness to protect her even if it risks their friendship. I love that she's firm in her beliefs and unwilling to bend them for anyone. I love that she's growing in strength and confidence and badassery. I love that she's unimpressed with Damon Salvatore. I love when she chants spells. *g* I love that she can stand down a 200-year-old vampire, get inside his head, and bring him to his knees.

TOPH. ♥ I love that she's the best earthbender in the world and KNOWS IT. I love that she invented metalbending, ffs. I love that she was brave enough to run away from her controlling family even though it clearly hurt her to do it, more than she lets show. I love that she's so tough but that it covers a lot of vulnerability, loneliness and homesickness. I love how genuinely funny she is. I love her fierce need to stand on her own two feet even if it means she had to learn to work with the rest of the group, to help them and let them help her. I love the uniqueness of her abilities even amongst other earthbenders; how she bends her environment to her own will and how it helps her see. SHE IS THE BEST.

Annie! I love that she doesn't let herself angst or dwell on things for too long. I love how she talks to herself when she's lonely. How she makes tea she can't drink. I love how she balances her boys, how she's always there to listen even when they sometimes forget to be there to listen to her. I love that she holds them so close and how they anchor her to this world. How open her heart is to everyone. I love her quirky sense of humour and weird tangents and I love how she's learning to be strong on her own. I love that she's actually BADASS and has such a well of power inside herself that she's still learning to find. And I love her smile ridiculously. *g*

I'm so with you on adoring her tea-making and learning to be strong and her smile. So lovable, that one!

The motherfuckin' Bride, oh man. I love that she's dogged and determined and has been through so much hell but never stays down. I love how she channels her rage, and how said rage is complicated and tangled up in hurt and betrayal and love. I love that she was strong enough to do what needed to be done despite all that love. I love that she can take down 88 ninjas all by herself and tell them to leave their limbs when they leave, because they belong to HER now. Then walk away with enough strength in her body to take out O'Ren as well. I love that she's vulnerable enough to break down, but not until she's done what she set out to do. I love that through it all she can't quite tuck her humanity away.

I hate that I don't have a Kill Bill icon.

Yay Beatrix Kiddo! I think I heard a whisper of a sequel at some point, but then Tarantino wants to make everything, overexcited film-geek that he is.

She only killed 87 ninjas. Then there was spanking XD
