So Gwen's blurb on SyFy's Merlin website has been changed, to:

Gwen's, or Gwynevere's, current situation is a million miles away from her infamous future. She's maidservant to Morgana, a kind mistress, but nonetheless her duties of cleaning, washing, fetching and carrying are far from glamorous. Not that Gwen minds. A job in Uther's court is the ( Read more... )

I think they have the whole Gwen/Merlin relationship backwards. I mean Merlin is the one who's like Gwen is pretty.

I love that gif too. They're so like, what, they think we like men? (Morgana is slowly, in my head, becoming completely gay, which makes writing Uther/Morgana quite hard.)

First: That GIF is awesome.

Second: I love how their idea of fixing the problem is simply to cut out the offensive parts. Ya know...instead of actually taking the time to right something new.

Third: I doubt I'll be watching when Merlin airs on SyFy. I've had issues with that network ever since they made the change to 'SyFy' and I really don't want to give them any ratings. Plus, the first season DVDs are coming out in the states so I'll just buy it!!!

"The problem" was idiots whining about "the offensive parts." Cutting these parts fixes "the problem" from their POV.

Though, admittedly, they would have done better to ignore the silly whining.

Look, don't ever come into another one of my posts and call my friends whiners, idiots, or insinuate what they ought not to be offended by. Ever. If that's not something you can deal with, feel free to never come here again, and I mean that.

It really sucks because I would have wanted to contribute to the ratings and help keep it on the air; I probably still will, but this is still a shame.

Definitely grabbing the DVDs, too. :D

(I'm really sorry about the troll, by the way; the ignorant-ass comment it made to you. :/ It won't be a problem again.)
