+ I fixed my computer. *\o/* It wasn't a serious problem, thankfully. Still not exactly sure what happened, but I figured out stumbled across which driver was causing the problem and deleted it (in case anyone cares, I went to the Device Manager and clicked the ticky that shows all the hidden drivers, and then discovered that two of the drivers

Congrats with your skillz in the computer area!! I always feel a small bit of pride when I fix a problem on my computer. And I know everyone rags on Vista, and yes, it has its issues, but I still love it, tbh. ^^

This is late in coming but for virus programs and Vista, Microsoft Live OneCare works the best. Or, if you want to test a freebie, Avast comes recommended of some techs I know who work with computers all day long. And SuperAntiSpyware is a free spyware program I'd recommend. Just so you know.

ooh, I have a bad history with Norton - I don't use them anymore; they caused no END of trouble on my last laptop. SUCH a pain. Glad you got it fixed, though.

I think this is the beginning of my bad history with Norton - I'll be switching to something else when this runs out. XP
