Oh thank god you ended with a happy section. I got kind of emotional in the early segments and I was barely hanging on to my sense of the happier stories. Thank you for that dose of hope.

God, I love this in so many ways! Granted, there was no one big scene where Dean and Castiel hashed it all out, but the whole passage of time gave the state of their relationship a different feel each time, improving little by little. From anger to jealousy to quiet acceptance and then finally.... to family.

This made my day.

Thank you! I'm pretty sure you were behind the prompt that inspired this, right?

The dynamics of Dean and Cas are this amazing, like, unturned stone, because thanks to the way Kira and I come up with Heartverse plot, we don't spend much time discussing what the two of them talk about when they're on their own. (It's because I'm the voice of both Dean and Cas, so it'd be a pretty one-sided conversation :p) There are a few pairs that get overlooked because of this, and it was a BLAST for me to get a chance to explore it.

Absolutely, which was in part what made my day; but mostly because I haven't seen a new fic from you guys in a while, so this was great.

I do have to say that I love how much you get Dean: this guy who desperately needs affection and attention and love but won't allow himself to experience it because he's supposed to be this stone. Yet slowly and surely, the stone is breaking apart.

Huh. I wonder what the core is like.

I had been starting to feel like people don't like this verse, so I really appreciate you saying this. I mean...I love it. And if anyone else does too, that's just gravy, y'know?

And THANK YOU SO MUCH for saying I get Dean :) I wonder what the core is like too...I'm trying to figure it out!

It's perhaps that there aren't a lot of hurt-Sam fans out there, and the ones that are there and see this verse haven't read all of the fics in Kira's verse; perhaps they're confused? Because honestly, I would just be baffled at anyone who could read these stories without feeling every inch and word.

It's love coated and drama. The best kind of story out there.

Or it could be that you guys are just too intense for some people? Not that I'm saying you should be less intense; it's perfect as is it. If I made you feel worse by posting this, that wasn't the intention.

And not just Dean, but Castiel ss well. You really know the characters well and how to develop them. You impress me.
