I really like this. I am a sucker for stories where you see that Cas cares for Sam too and I definitely got this from this story. My heart broke for poor broken, angry and hurting Sam who does not see his own value. I am glad Cas was there. nicely done.

This is beyond amazing. Sam's anger has been a present theme throughout the series, and despite how much love the two of you have let him express, you didn't forget that it was there.

That, and traumatized victims and all of that.

I love this in so many ways. The uncertainty he feels. The fear mingled with hate and the belief that he must have turned into this horrible monster quelled by the touch of an angel.

It's beautiful.

While we've got you here, I was wondering if we could talk about what's going on over at your journal. Obviously fambiz and I (even me with Sammyverse) don't have a monopoly on asthmatic Sam, but since we've only been posting Heartverse recently and the stories on your journal started appearing recently as well, I find this, to be honest, pretty problematic for me. What's getting to me even more is that I'm noticing a lot of the same mannerisms and phrasings in our writing--which are not commonplace--showing up in your stories as well as ours.

I'm not sure where, if it were up to me, you'd go from here. Ideally you'd give us some kind of credit on your journal and spend time developing your own voice, but, again, none of this is copyrighted, and I guess anything is fair game. But I didn't feel right not letting you know that we're bothered by this.

Actually, my hunt for good asthma fics is what led me to Supernatural in the beginning and then to your fanfics. The only reason I found your stuff was because I was looking for things specifically on asthma.

I respect you both as authors, and my intention was not to copy. If you would like me to stop commenting on your stories, I will understand, and just hope that you don't block me from reading them.

Because I respect you both, I will try to change things up. Switch to third person, try to focus more on what I initially wanted to: Sam with Multiple Personality Disorder and the whole animosity between the brothers being put to rest.

I will not stop writing, however, and I apologize for that.

This is hard, but also lovely, because it makes total sense that Sam, sweetheart that he is, still harbors a lot of anger, and doesn't know what to do with that, and the Cage obviously only made it worse. This is a really interesting look at the beginning of their relationship, too, and it shows how much Cas believes in Sam, despite everything, and that's lovely, too. The fact that he offered himself up as a punching bag (and Sam's initial horrified reaction) was great as well, and very powerful.

I hope Dean managed to kill that hunter. Hmph. Also, not a criticism at all, but I'm just curious what role Bobby would possibly play in this verse? Because he's still alive and kicking, is he not?
