[The Captain, even if he was compelled, felt like trying to be the hero again. It ended well with him being crippled and later dieing. Needless to say, it was pretty horrible.

The Captain now has finally taken out his regain. Putting it on and taking a walk out to Makeout Point. Alcohol was probably involved.

Is this person at Mayfield?

"Nope, but he might as well be. Usually he gets sent to hopeless situations like this just to fail and remind everyone nothing can be done."

[nameofexorcist]

...He attempts to be a hero?

[heartstar_blues]

"He is one. He fights to save the day and use all the power he can to do so.

He just can't save anyone."

[nameofexorcist]

...If he can't protect anyone, how is he a "hero?"

[heartstar_blues]

"Because he tries. It's not what he does, it's the fact that he will suffer trying just to save others and stop the bad things.

It's ☠☠☠☠ stupid."

Being a hero is subjective in the end anyways.

[heartstar_blues]

"Yeah, whatever. What matters most is he tried and he was useless. The most powerful and most useless person ever.

I'm just reminding myself of that."

[He doesn't say anything to that. Instead, he looks out at the town as well]

[After a bit of silence.]

"You think you can work with this?"

[He is still looking out to the town.]

You think you can get this to work?"

"Well, if you figure something out you got whatever I can give.

It isn't anything useful."
