Welcome back! LOL I see you made it OK with the new posting system at least you posted! yay!

Glad to know Dee's doing great, especially with potty training (ALREADY?!) I think you should explore more, and being a teacher sounds good idea- good choices you give consider about. Teach on which- pres, elem, middle or high school?

p.s. I still think you should go for hell's kitchen. *run away*

Yea, already! lol! I got the potty during the winter, and just let her familiarize (sp??) with it. Shes known how to sit on it, and what its for, but she didnt quite get the "go" part lol! so i just let it be, and just had a "mommy" feeling to let her go without a diaper last sat, and to leave the potty out for her. she picked it up right away, and she actually does it on her own. so its great! its been super easy, simply bec its right timing. Shes not 100% there ofc, so when we go out and etc, she wears diapers, but around the house she doesnt. its just so that she can really learn, ohhh thats the feeling i need to know, and how to hold it. once she does, she can really start wearing undies. But its great, bec it means that when she goes to daycare/preschool next yr, she'll be already potty trained so there wont be any rushing or pushing to get her going.
as for the teacher, im thinking elementry.

Hells kitchen?? hell no! lol!!!! Gordon Ramsey is a great chef, but he scares me lol! No way would i be able to go for his show. lol!

Kat,

It was good to see you back on LJ! I have been wondering about you those days.

I am glad to hear that you and Dee are doing well. Potty training, wow... that's great!

You just realized making cakes are your hobbies, not for a career?

Degree in teaching sounds great. Go for it! :)

Hugs,
Jess

Hey Jess!
How are you? Actually, I could do cakes and pursue it if i wanted to, but i dont. The hours are too long, and generally to do a full time cake business/bakery, im talking 12 plus hrs a day. I'd lose so much time with Dee and I wouldnt be raising her as much as i would like to, so ive decided to keep it as somethign to do for fun, every now and then.
