It is everyone's favorite alcoholic, The Captain. He's in a better mood than usual and is actually still sober. Those who saw him floating like a dead man would also notice his mood has changed. Why you might ask?

[Hey that was that kid! He'd zip by the first time knowing the streets loop. He'd make one pass and then come out the other side ready to make his next pass. He was showing off and enjoyed it.]

[The Captain was getting more sure of himself. Flying fast. Seeing the boy again he even turned sideways in the air and waved. Grinning from ear to ear.

That meant he wasn't watching where he was going.

In the yard neighboring Lucas's, The Captain would slam full speed into the tree.

If he had his super strength and invulnerability that tree would be splinters.

As it was, he had neither so when he hit the tree he stopped dead. It was hard to tell what snapping sounds were branches and what were bones. He crumpled into the tree and wracked himself in a position both grotesque and bizarre.

The Captain... was dead. A bleeding broken corpse in a tree.]
